Today we are posting the second podcast from our Datafication and Digital Rights in East Africa research network. This is a conversation between Mohamed Abdimalik (a journalist with expertise in open data) and Peter Chonka (King’s College London).
Recently, Mohamed wrote an interesting article for our project’s blog. Mohamed’s article discussed how Somali journalists are using data and the obstacles and opportunities that exist for data journalism and data visualization in the context. The blog post was written in English and this podcast gives the opportunity for Mohamed to explain in Somali his views on these issues and give more details about his work.
